New technology for producing degradable plastics with CO2 has passed the appraisal

the new technology for preparing fully stable and reliable degradable plastic materials with carbon dioxide as raw material, jointly developed by Jiangsu Zhongke Jinlong Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Institute of chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has recently passed the appraisal of major scientific and technological achievements organized by the State Environmental Protection Administration. Zhoufulin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, is a member of the national Wenchuan earthquake expert committee. He has obtained aliphatic polycarbonate polyols with a colorless catalyst content of less than 10 parts per million, which can produce polyurethane materials

this new type of fully biodegradable foam can be applied to packaging materials, which has a broad market. Before, only the new spiral design saves 2G of plastic per bottle. Experts believe that the products produced by this new technology not only make the circuit simple and low in cost, but also can be completely degraded, which can solve the harm of "white pollution" and open a new way for the recycling of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide.
